The overall look of the duvet set was lovely and as I expected so that was good. The set when opened had a strange musty smell to it. I washed it on the correct setting and it’s been dried naturally. The piping has shrunk somewhat which has caused a little gathering of the duvet and also the pillowcases. I have just ironed it all with a good steam iron and it is quite difficult to do with the piping as it is. So the overall look now is quite scruffy. I will wash again and add some softener to see if it improves the look and feel.
